Unit Summary
The aim of this unit is to enable learners to gain knowledge of the
importance of sustainable waste management and in identifying
opportunities to minimise waste in the workplace to improve the
environment and the associated social benefits. Learners will also gain skills
in minimising waste in an organisation through working practices which
support effective waste management, in planning and assisting with
implementation measures to improve and promote effective management of
waste.
